Speed Math Year 1: Students Reach 1-2 Second Addition Speeds

Dear MemoKid Community, 

Please join us in congratulating all Speed Math Year 1 students on completing the progress exam, which covered single- and double-digit addition at speeds as fast as 1.0 and 2.0 seconds per operation, without any tool. We would also like to recognize the following top 10 performers who earned the highest points amongst the entire 2025-2026 cohort. 

A friendly reminder that consistent practice with spaced repetition (daily practice) is essential in brain sports because it strengthens neuroplasticity, a principle supported by a variety of institutions such as Harvard and Carnegie Mellon. Daily practice of 15-30 minutes will be key to success in the upcoming tournament, MemoKid Cup, which is tentatively scheduled for Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, January 19, 2026.
